A well known LGBT+ landmark in Rio, the Rainbow Kiosk can be found by the Copacabana Hotel on Copacabana Beach. A good spot to check out some of Rio's most beautiful people. You can have a drink and try some local small plates. Opening hours can vary but it's popular both day and night.

Pink Flamingo is one of the newer editions to Copacabana's gay bar scene. It opens around 7 pm, giving you an early doors option for a gay night out in Rio. It tends to attract a younger, well-dressed and often painfully good-looking crowd. The drag shows are also top-notch.

Galeria is Ipanema's staple dance club on Rua Farme de Amoedos.

With a 20-year-long reputation, it has become a great haven for the LGBT community in Rio de Janeiro. The crowd is very diverse here: gays, lesbians, barbies, bears, trans, queens and more.

Drinks are affordable and the DJs are great.

Silêncio Bar is a vibrant gay bar in Ipanema, Rio de Janeiro, known for its cocktails and drag shows. It attracts and mixed though mostly younger crowd. This small bar is something of a meeting point for Ipanema gays.

The Home is a huge nightclub located in Rio de Janeiro's Gamboa district, a historic area known for its colonial architecture and nightlife. Established in 2022, the club has since become a major LGBT+ venue.

Housed in a two-story modern building, The Home has a contemporary design, futuristic lighting and huge dance floors. The mezzanine level provides an excellent vantage point, allowing partygoers to check out the Brazilian hotties. Check their Instagram for information about events.

Point 202 is a night-club located in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil. It hosts strippers and dance parties and offers a wide range of drinks.
