San Sebastian is the main gay club in Salvador. It opens from 11 pm till late on Friday and Saturday. It's the most tourist-friendly establishment in Salvador. There are often drag performances. This is a good place to come to see the finest specimens of the Brazilian night.

Amsterdam Pop Club isn't a gay club but it does host some gay events. It attracts a younger crowd - twenties to early thirties - of often well dressed, sexy Brazilians. Check their Facebook for info about upcoming events. Be prepared for some serious eye candy. It's open Thursday-Saturday.

Boate Tropical CLub is home to dance music, tribal house and drag shows. It's open at weekends. A good place to party the night away, especially if you like tribal house!
